UPSC CDS Admit Card 2024 Out: The Union Public Service Commission has released the admit card for the upcoming UPSC Combined Defence Services (I) Exam, on its official website at upsc.gov.in. The CDS exam is scheduled to take place on April 21, 2024 (Sunday) in multiple centres across India.
Candidates who have registered to appear for the exam, will be able to download their admit card by logging in using their login credentials, such as, registration id, roll number, date of birth and other relevant details.

Step 2: Look for the admit card link labeled ‘e – Admit Card: Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2024’ and click on it.
Step 3: Enter your registration details, including your registration number and date of birth.
Step 4: Once you’ve entered the required information, click on the “Submit” button.
Step 5: Your admit card will then be displayed on the screen.
Step 6: Make sure to save the admit card for future reference. You may want to print it out or keep it saved electronically.

According to the notice released by the Commission, the UPSC has made available the e-Admit Card of candidates registered to appear for the exam, on the e-Admit Card portal at upsconline.nic.in
The notice reads, “The UPSC will be conducting the Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2024 on 21st April, 2024 (Sunday). The Commission will upload the e-Admit Card for the convenience of the admitted candidates on its website (upsconline.nic.in). The admitted candidates are advised to download their e-Admit Card and take a printout as soon as the same is uploaded on the website.”

According to the official notice by the commission, it was stated that candidates would need to present the printout of their e-Admit Card at the designated venue to attend the examination. It was further mentioned that any candidate failing to provide their e-Admit Card for verification at the designated venue would not be permitted to participate in the examination.
Additionally, candidates were instructed to carry a photo ID card, the number of which was mentioned in the e-Admit Card, for each session.
In situations where the photograph was not visible or available on the e-Admit Card, candidates were advised to bring three identical photographs (one for each session) along with the printout of the e-Admit Card to the examination venue, along with a declaration. Any discrepancies found in the e-Admit Card were to be promptly reported to the Commission.
Examination timings
Regarding the exam timings, it was specified that the sessions would commence from 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM for the English Paper, 12:00 Noon to 02:00 PM for the General Knowledge Paper, and 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM for the Elementary Mathematics Paper.
The notice also informed that candidates needed to arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before the start of the examination session, and they would only be allowed entry at the venue mentioned in their e-Admit Cards.
Items you can carry inside exam hall
Candidates were advised to bring a black ballpoint pen to the examination hall. Moreover, they were reminded not to bring valuables, mobile phones, smart/digital watches, other IT gadgets, books, bags, or any other prohibited items into the examination premises. Venue supervisors would not provide arrangements for storing these items.
