PRAYAGRAJ: Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board, commonly known as UP Board, will be announcing the result of class 10th and 12th board exam on April 20 (Saturday) at 2 PM.
According to Board’s secretary, Dibyakant Shukla, the result can be seen on the website of UP Board upmsp.edu.in and the NIC website upresults.nic.in.
This is for the first time that the results of the largest Board in the world, in terms of number of examinees who appear in the two board classes, is being declared in a record time.
The evaluation of high school and intermediate answer sheets started from March 16 and concluded in a record time on March 31. In a total of 13 working days, the copies were evaluated by 1,47,097 examiners across the state.
Shukla said, “After conducting the exams in a fair and transparent manner in a record time of just 12 days, we concluded the evaluation in a record time of 13 working days and now we are all set to announce the results on April 20 (Saturday), which is also a record in itself”.

The Secretary added that the results will be announced at the Board’s headquarters at 2:00 pm and like last year, the Board will be announcing the result of both class 10 and 12, simultaneously.
A total of 55,25,308 candidates were registered for 2024 Board exams of which 29,47,311 students were of high school and 25,77,997 were of the intermediate. A total of 1,47,097 examiners were appointed for the evaluation of a total of 3.01 crore answer sheets, he added. A total of 131 evaluation centers were set up for the evaluation of high school answer sheets and 116 evaluation centers for the evaluation of intermediate answer sheets.
