NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to conduct the UGC NET exam for the June session tomorrow, June 18, 2024. This highly anticipated exam determines eligibility for Assistant Professorships and Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges. Documents to Carry
• UGC NET Admit Card: This is the most crucial document and serves as your entry pass to the exam hall.Ensure it has a clear printout with your photograph and signature.
• Valid Photo ID Proof: Carry an original and photocopy of a government-issued photo ID proof like Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID card, Passport, Driving License, or College ID card.

• Passport-sized Photograph: An extra passport-sized photograph (same as one on the admit card) might be required for verification at the exam center.
Exam Day Guidelines
• Reporting Time: Reach the exam center well before the reporting time mentioned on your admit card. This allows for security checks and familiarization with the exam environment.
• Dress Code: Opt for comfortable clothing that adheres to the exam center’s dress code. Avoid wearing any kind of jewellery or clothing with elaborate embroidery or pockets, which might raise suspicion during frisking.
• Exam Pattern: The UGC NET exam is conducted in a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. There will be two papers: Paper-I (General Awareness) and Paper-II (Subject-specific). Both papers will be objective type with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
