SSC CHSL 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the commencement date for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier-1 exam 2024. As per the official notification, the computer-based test (CBT) will be conducted across the country in three daily shifts starting from July 1st, 2024.
This exam is conducted for the recruitment of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Postal Assistant (PA), Sorting Assistant (SA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO) within various Central Government departments.
SSC CHSL 2024: Exam Pattern and Syllabus
The SSC CHSL Tier-1 exam will consist of four sections:
General Intelligence (Reasoning): This section will test a candidate’s analytical and logical reasoning abilities. It will include questions on analogies, classifications, series completion, coding-decoding, blood relations, puzzles, etc. (50 marks)
Quantitative Aptitude: This section will assess a candidate’s numerical ability and problem-solving skills. It will cover topics like number systems, simplification, HCF, LCM, averages, percentages, ratio and proportion, profit and loss, simple and compound interest, mensuration, time and work, etc. (50 marks)
General Awareness: This section will evaluate a candidate’s knowledge of current affairs, history, geography, science, polity, economics, and other areas of general knowledge. (50 marks)
English Language: This section will test a candidate’s proficiency in English grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing skills. (50 marks)

Negative Marking: 0.50 marks for each wrong answer
